Anyone ever pre ordered video games before? I never did this but I'm curious about you guys. What games are you currently pre ordering?

When i done it.. I went in "Game" & pre-ordered it. Once they receive their batch of the new game, they phone me & i go in & pick it up Usually on the day

Depends where you pre-order them. If you order them online, at places like Amazon, they're delivered on or around the day of release (Sometimes early.) Like Sean said, pre-ordering in store means you have to pick them up on the day of release.
I pre-ordered Mass Effect 3 with Gamestation. Then they defaulted on all of them, so I only pre-order from Amazon now.

Never done it, I have never bought a brand new game before mainly fur to the fact that they cost a fortune, it's just a disk and not worth the money. I do play games but only when they get a lot cheaper.

Never done it before. I like to get some good reviews of the game first to see what they are like. I hate being out money if a game sucks.

I have only pre-ordered one game for myself and it was not an X-box game it was a Pokemon game...go ahead and laugh but I really wanted it. On the other hand I have been sent to the store to make sure my hubby gets a brand spanking new special edition copy of quite a few games. Usually he only does it when there is something extra he wants if you pre-order such as a special case or an extra disc or a t-shirt.
I usually wait to buy almost all of my games used or rent them but there are only a few games I will pick up again after I am done playing so I just find it a waste of money. My hubby is the complete opposite he will pick up a game he has not touched in a year and play through it again if he really liked it the first time around.

I might have preordered a game before but it's been a long while. Usually, I wait until a game has been out for awhile before buying and then only after having played by rental. I don't really like risking money on a game if i don't know what the game play experience is like before hand.

I haven't preordered any xbox games but I feel the experience is essentially the same thing so I'll say that I love it. Only for those special games that I've been waiting for and know I will love do I ever preorder but I've always loved the idea of it.
Realistically I generally will only make a proper preorder if it's a collectors/limited/it comes with something extra. Seems a little useless preordering a game if you do not get any bonus from it.

I have never pre-ordered any games. I thought about pre-ordering Madden 13 last time I was at GameStop, but I decided not to. I don't like buying games new. I hate paying around $60.00 for a game only to see it going for $10.00 a year later. It's like buying a car, the value of the game drops as soon as you buy it.

I haven't done it in a really LONG time. I usually either want to play it first and try it out, or I get it for Christmas after it has already been released.

I only do it if it's a sequel to a game that I loved! What I like about it is that you can get some really great deals, and get it the day it comes out without being in a rush! :)
