Im looking for ideas, lots of them, for what to both put in a "VIP Lounge" forum to make it worth being a special forum & also what benifits, extras, etc.. can be offer to VIP Members for it to be worth them becoming a VIP Member? Users that will be able to enter/view the "VIP Lounge" will be VIP Members & All Staff Members.

Maybe having a whole section for the lounge would help.

As for benefits, I could think of having the ability to choose a theme.

I think that would be awesome too.
We could host a competition to design new themes for the site.
Sean can pick a few to be added and then have a few as VIP themes...

Yeah, it will be a new category, with forums in it.
The whole category will only be visable & usable to staff & VIP members.

Back on topic, I feel that the VIPs can get twice the amount of XLF cash in the lounge.

Yes, i wont mark this down on the opening post, but yes, the XLF Cash earned for posting topics & replies in the VIP Lounge will be more than anywhere else on the forum

I think a few good suggestions for vip benifits are....

-- monthly or weekly free shop item,
-- ability to status on the xbox live fan facebook page,
-- abitity to lock their own post in all the forums,
-- ability to edit their posts at anytime instead of only with it few hours after posting.

i notice this topic is from 2013, has a VIP section \ membership been implemented yet? if so, how would one achieve becoming VIP?

This is just a topic i made to get feedback and suggestions about it. There wasnt a time on when it will happen or anything, i have just kept this topic here as it will happen at some point

for future reference then i'd like to recommend the first VIP benefit by CHT to be revoked. if you install multiple themes (haven't looked if you already do), maybe have a dark one, a light one, or anything like that, i think it should be available to anyone. cause what if i a new person comes along and is like "i wish this theme wasn't so bright and they had a dark them i could use", or something like that.

nsn, that while a valid point I already know what will happen if people can just change the theme. More bandwidth will be used firstly and on top of that, it wouldn't help get more people to support the site.

This forum should not have any additional themes beyond the one it already has. Every time Sean has to update the forum software would potentially break the themes and every single one would require fixing and amendments. For his sake it should remain with just the one theme.

Please do stop dissing on other people just cause you feel like it.
