first thing i will say that i am not scared of ghosts and all, actually i like investigating sites which are said to be haunted

but the movie that i will say is scary accroding to me is the japanese movie the ring series and the grudge series
japanse horror is very different from amercian horror, unlike american horror which is full of gore violence and well nudity and sex, japanese horror movies are really more close to the real horror one would expect,

the main point is how do you know if an movie is scary, its not just that you are scared when you watch it but that you cant stop thinking about it after an week or so,
when i first saw the ring i was thinking about the movie for about 2-3 weeks not becoz i was scared but i was so much interested in it,
so its something you can look at, its worth it
