What do you feel? Is purchasing a monthly or yearly Xbox live membership worth it to you? Why or why not?

I bought the whole year at once. So it's worth it :) And usually you get those points with these "coupons" as well so more to spend on arcade games or DLC

It's definitely worth it in my eyes :) as said above you get all the extra's when you purchase Xbox Live including Xbox Rewards which gives away Microsoft points for doing certain things using your Xbox say watching so many hours of something using an App and with those you can purchase games from the marketplace, avatar items and such. The uptime of Xbox Live is brilliant and the size of the community makes it an action packed fun place to be and game on your favourite game. Wouldn't ever regret purchasing Xbox Live.

If you want to have the best experience, it is totally worth it! You can't really do much without it because you can't play online or talk to your friends etc. It isn't that expensive either to be honest, £15 for 3 months of gold is quite good for what you get. It does make your gaming a lot more fun and I haven't really regret buying it. The uptime is brilliant unlike PS3 so you will get the best service.

I believe that Xbox Live is better than PSN and that is due to us paying for it. I think that the yearly price is better than the monthly/tri-monthly.

Like anything, i would be happy if the price of it dropped, but im still happy to pay what it costs now.

I think it's very worth it :) as long as you regularly play online or use other services on it regularly such as Hulu Plus and Netflix to name a few.

If you use it and appreciate its value and have the money, then yeah! go for it
I personally would use it, as it adds so much to certain games that are dull otherwise!

Surely if offline is enough for you then silver will do. But you get 30 trial period to see if you like it

I personally don't, it depends what you do. Here at Uni, it is mainly local play, so there is no need in buying it as we play against or with each other.

It is £40 for a year, which is 3.33 a month roughly. Which is kind of loose change but to me it isn't worth it. A lot of the community often send abusive messages to you when they either lose or beat you and then you face lag and such.

It allows you to play with people, yeah, but it depends if you need to.

I've always been on Gold membership. It's worth it in my opinion, but it depends on what you use it for and how often. Sometimes a month will go by when I don't really use it, or atleast online. But it doesn't bother me i'm still happy to pay £40 because it's not much and i get a lot of fun out of it.
