I hate cheating to move on in a game, but sometimes I can't help myself because I keep repeating the same level over and over. When you get stuck in a level do you look up cheats/guides to help you get through it?

I have sometimes on Resident Evil with a puzzle I had to do. Apart from that I never cheat, just means I rage quit a hell of a lot before getting it right :D

lol, I cheated in Skyrim a little. I couldn't get out of the dungeon and I had to use tcl to get out. But I only cheat when I'm really stuck :/

I use walkthroughs before I look for cheats. But if there are cheats available, I know I'd use them to help me get past a level.
Though, if there were just cheats to generally mess around, I use them. Especially in GTA.

In a lot of games It's not always possible to cheat. That said though I do find myself using walk throughs way more often than I should.

Well.. I don't really know how I could cheat :D Oh well I did sort of cheat yesterday when playing Battlefield 3. I was doing the assigment where you needed 20 underslug grenade launcher kills. I used the Mass ;) Shhh

I have been known to yes but it is only after I have spent so long on one part of a game that it is pretty ridiculous. Normally I will try until I complete it myself but I feel that in some games I think they purposely make it virtually impossible lol

I try not to cheat, as I hate cheaters but sometimes it is just too hard not to. Some times I feel better if I can just get to the next level and then I do better.

Certainly the urge to cheat is there, but once I do I'm usually disappointed. Like with GTA, it took away the challenge of the game, even though I was tearing my hair out trying to get all my skills.
I try to imagine that I AM my character, and my character wouldn't have access to cheats.

That depends on what you mean by cheating if you mean do I look it up online and to see what I am missing or doing wrong then you bet I cheat. My hubby does not he will play the same scene for hours until he figures out what he needs to do to move on. If I am stuck for 10 minutes that is it I have to look it up or I get angry and the game is no longer fun for me. You don't know how many times my hubby had made me wait an extra hour to go eat because he won't look it up.

It does take away an element of the game if you do cheat, but sometimes I just have to if I have a really hard time with a game. I do all I can not to cheat but sometimes temptation gets the best of me.

When I play GTA, It's impossible not to use cheats. My best friends in GTA are the Lower Wanted Level, and The Weapons Cheats. These cheats are essential for me to be successful in beating the game.

It really depends for which game you are going to use cheats and on the amounts of bugs. For example in GTA I always cheat, as soon as I have finished all missions and in SIMS I already use money cheats at the beginning. Now I have also played a weird shooter 6 years ago and I still remember all of the bugs! I had no choice but to cheat.

I only cheat if it's impossible to complete something. Like if I only have 6 health left, I will hack the game and add some more health.
I also consider watching walkthroughs and reading online how to beat the game as cheating.

Yes I do. If I am stuck on something for like 2 hours I will google a walkthrough to be able to complete the next stage of the game. No point wasting my time if I'm not going to figure out how to do it.

Rarely. I try not to cheat unless I absolutely have to, as in I am on a part for several days and can not figure out what to do. The only time I've had to do this is on Super Paper Mario when I had to push the - button and it never told me to do that. So no, I don't cheat.
